Deer for You, Dear!

Here is my first gift to you for the 2011 Christmas season, the only catch, don't get upset with me for starting in October ;).  There are 2 color choices here, each has a text-only version, or a text with a couple of pictures version, use whichever you like,a s many as you like, share them, make art out of them, make cards out of them, scrapbook with them, whatever you choose, enjoy!

Donder, some call him Donner, one in the same, it all depends on how you learned it. Also known as Dunder (though that makes it sound liek he is clumsy to me). Google and see, there is all sorts of debate about it. I was taught his name was Donder, probably because of other history with the name Donner.

When I googled it it is Donner

Yes, that seems to be the most popular spelling. I must have read the poem this way when I was very young, and is stuck with me. It is one of those things, I know you are right, but my mind cannot change tit :)

interestingly, when I went to find the poem with Donder, I also found variation of Blitzen (Blixem is one, I believe, and those are quite new to me!

I am so pleased it says Donder. That is how the poem was originally written & the way I like most. Can't wait to use this in a frame for christmas decor. Thanks!
